As we turn the corner from fall to winter, nature invites us to reflect—especially on the theme of letting go—and to recognize that there is a time and a season for everything. This Sunday is the time of our annual special service for Honoring Our Ancestors. This day set aside for honoring those ancestors who have passed on supports us in connecting with the eternal, through the stream of time. We call forth and claim the gifts that have been passed on to us through the generations. We let go of what no longer serves the highest good.

The prayer service will include inspiration, meditation, prayer, and an opportunity for the names of those who recently made their transition to be shared aloud. There will also be a time for you to light a memorial candle if you would like. As we join in prayer as a spiritual community, we find solace and offer a light of hope for others.
