"The blessed role of Kriya Yoga in the East and West has hardly more than just begun. May all come to know that there exists a definite, scientific technique of Self-realization for the overcoming of all human misery!"

– Paramahansa Yogananda’s concluding words in his Autobiography of a Yogi

This September marks the one-hundredth anniversary of Paramahansa Yogananda’s journey to bring the transformative teachings of Kriya Yoga to the West. As he predicted, yoga has spread far and wide, awakened countless souls, changed the way we experience spirituality, and provided access to India’s ancient wisdom for living a life of higher purpose, meaningful prosperity, happiness, and freedom. Throughout September and October, we are offering a celebration program with several events to highlight Yogananda's life, explore the vital legacy he entrusted to us, and consider how it can aid our steps in the years ahead.
