How to Have a Wise Mind and Compassionate Heart
with Yogacharya Ellen Grace O'Brian
Tuesdays, May 9-23, 2017, 7-9 PM

(NEW DATES)

A meditator's purified mind accurately reflects what is
perceived, like a clear, polished crystal takes on the color
of an object that is near.
—Sutra 1.41

Until we understand what the mind actually is, how it works, and what its potential is, we do not have access to our full ability to excel in life. Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra is an essential guidebook for learning about the mind—how to actualize its capacities and ultimately go beyond it to the realization of our essence.

The course includes:
· Insights from the Yoga Sutra for cultivating even-mindedness, compassion, and wisdom
· Meditation instruction and practice
· Remedies for overcoming the nine obstacles to spiritual practice
· A method for applying spiritual wisdom to succeed in all areas of life

This class is offered on donation basis both onsite at CSE and online. ($25 fee for online access. Online class may be streamed live, or accessed anytime within 72 hours after each class).
