This Satsang series draws from Yogacharya O’Brian’s book, Path of Wonder: A Meditator’s Guide to Advent. She writes, “The meaning of Advent is ‘coming or arrival.’ It signifies the period of faithful waiting for the birth of the Universal Christ—realization of the essential divine Self. What could such spiritual awakening make possible in our lives and our world?”

Each Satsang includes an inspirational message, chanting, and meditation. The Satsang on December 18 also includes a candlelight ceremony and readings from the world’s traditions, and December 25 includes readings on the spiritual significance of Christmas.

This series is offered both onsite and online. Registration is not required. All are welcome. Please wear a mask indoors.

Acharya Sundari Jensen was initiated into Kriya Yoga in 1999, and ordained by Yogacharya O'Brian in 2002. She is a Senior Kriya Yoga Teacher and serves as CSE’s Executive Director and Board President. As Provost of Meru Institute, Acharya Sundari oversees the training & preparation of CSE teachers and leaders. In addition, Acharya Sundari is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, Vedic Counselor, and IAYT certified Yoga Therapist.

Acharya Devin Atma Sodt was initiated into Kriya Yoga in 2003 & ordained by Yogacharya O'Brian in 2009. He is a Senior Kriya Teacher, Meru Institute faculty member, and a certified Vedic Counselor and Hatha Yoga teacher and instructor. He has been teaching meditation and spiritual growth practices since 2005.
