"Balance material and spiritual duties in your life; that will bring you supreme happiness." –Paramahansa Yogananda

It can be useful to ask ourselves, what would it feel like to overcome the obstacles to experiencing our life, right where we are, as a radiant source of inspiration and joy? For we not only want to survive this stage of life, but we want to thrive!

Questions may arise. How do we tend to our spiritual practice while balancing our roles and responsibilities in the home, family, and workplace? Is it possible to experience ultimate freedom and equanimity while engaging in family and career life?

If you are 25–50 years old and yearning to have a deeper understanding and experience of your life through a spiritual lens, this retreat is for you.

Yoga philosophy and practice light the path for healthy, vital, and purposeful living at every stage of life. In the Vedic system the householder stage of life is called grihastha – dwelling in the house or family. In this stage, we move from being centered on study, development, and discovery to a stronger focus on living with higher purpose, pursuing wealth, and experiencing pleasure.

The householder stage of life offers us the opportunity to ‘live in the world but not of it’. Together, we will discover that there is no conflict between living a grounded spiritual life and rendering useful service in the world through family, career, and the mundane activities of daily living. In fact, it is fertile ground for spiritual awakening.

This retreat will offer:

• A spiritual model to inspire your life and help you navigate the grihastha stage
• Tools to transform obstacles so you may experience joy and absolute freedom
• Inspiration and support for thriving and prospering in all aspects of your life
• Practices for enhancing your vital energy and nurturing your sense of complete wellbeing through self-care
• Meditation practices for skillful daily living and spiritual awakening
• Ritual for bringing forth your intention at this stage of living
