Health is the most valuable thing we have, and home cooked meals made from real wholesome foods are undoubtedly the key to optimal health. Understanding Ayurvedic nutrition and cooking is a key to holistic, healthy living.
This class includes hands on experience of Ayurvedic principles of diet and nutrition to support health and well-being on all levels—and involves handling, cooking, and tasting foods. You will be introduced to guidelines for a healthy diet and explore Ayurvedic approach to food as medicine. Class size is limited. Preregistration is required.

Cynthia Ambika Copple is co-founder of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) and she serves as a master teacher in CSE’s Meru Institute. Ambika is the Director of Lotus Holistic Health Institute in Capitola, CA. In over 30 years as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and teacher, she has taught and published internationally. She has offered many programs at CSE and is one of the featured speakers at the upcoming International Kriya Yoga Congress.
