How can we remain centered and respond to the stress in our life with resiliency? Our stress response developed as a way to handle occasional life stresses, yet the stress in today’s world is chronic and continuous.  Join this retreat to explore yoga’s many practices and tools to help relieve stress, allowing us to relax, revitalize our energy, and allow our inner light to shine. In this retreat we will:

  • Understand the physiology of stress
  • Explore powerful yoga philosophy and practices that relieve stress and build resiliency such as deep relaxation, pranayama, and meditation
  • Experience gentle yoga asana practice that all can perform
  • Learn a longevity practice from Ayurveda
  • Enjoy time for reflection and journaling

Rev. Laurel Prema Trujillo began studying Kriya Yoga and meditation with Yogacharya O’Brian in 2002. She was ordained to teach in the Kriya Yoga tradition in 2014 and is a CSE certified Kriya Yoga Meditation Teacher. Dr. Trujillo is host and producer of The Yoga Hour podcast and is a retired General Internal Medicine Physician.
