David Rhodes is a composer, arranger, and performer who draws inspiration from his classical piano training, work with jazz, fusion and folk groups, study of world music traditions, the Bhakti of Kirtan and the ecstasy of Zhikr. David expresses himself through piano, keyboards, harmonium, zithers, voice and percussion.

David has collaborated with a number of musicians from different genres including vocalist Prabha Pacey, cellist Barry Phillips, harpist and oboist Shelley Phillips, violinist Stuart Wilson, cellist Elaine Kreston, percussionist John Malkin, percussionist Steve Robertson, mandolinist Joe Weed, reedman Rik Eiro Yamashiro, famed clarinetist Alvin Batiste, and others. He has collaborated with authors Coleman Barks, Alice Walker, Cheri Huber, Ellen Grace O’Brian, and others.
