Friday 01/20/2006 The experience of being overwhelmed is more related to desire than it is to action. The same body can fight very hard, kicking feet and thrashing arms in an effort to stay afloat in water or, relax and stay afloat effortlessly. Rev. Ellen Grace O'Brian
Saturday 01/21/2006 Impatience, frustration, and irritability are all shades of anger related to thwarted desire. This does not mean we float along in our boat of life without steering toward a destination, being tossed here and there with every wave of change.
