Conscious eating is a sacramental occasion where food is recognized as a gift from God to sustain our body temple. The energy of the body, fueled by healthy food, is then given back to God in selfless service.

When work is understood as service the questions of right livelihood are more easily answered. Service contributes to the welfare of others, to peace, and to the repair and healing of the world. Any vocation that is contrary to these cannot be called right livelihood.
