Both compassion and wisdom are necessary. Without wisdom compassion becomes sentiment or pity rather than a true expression of divine love. Without compassion, wisdom cannot reach its highest potential in divine love.

Each day should include some physical work that is useful. Physical work strengthens the body and calms the mind through concentration on the task. It connects us to the earth and the sacred present moment.
