When the mind is overcome with restlessness, it is common to think that we do not have enough time to meditate. From the perspective of the restless mind, this seems true. This thought is a sure sign that we have become too involved in outer activity.

How can we be even-minded, unconditionally content, and peaceful regardless of changing circumstances? Don’t take things personally. Remember that everything changes; God alone is changeless. Rely on God as your support. Be aware that things are not always as they seem.
