Flow for Strength is a hatha yoga class that moves gracefully without rushing. It includes sun salute variations, postures, and exercises that strengthen the upper body and core. It is designed to physically engage and stretch the whole body and improve our ability to focus. This class is for all levels. Modifications are offered and guidance is given on how to approach the class in a gentle, moderate or intense way. Skillful step by step instructions and a spirit of lightness and ease make this class both enjoyable and enriching.

Julianne Shivani Rice is a Kriya Yoga initiate and yoga instructor for over three decades with roots at Center for Spiritual Enlightenment. While being immersed in Kriya Yoga with Yogacharya O'Brian, she taught Hatha Yoga at CSE for 25 years. After teaching extensively in the Bay Area, a teacher of teachers and an inspiration for many, she is enthusiastically offering a yoga practice from her home to yours while sheltering in place to support all in maintaining and deepening their spiritual practices during this pause.
