Even one experience of Samadhi, or divine communion, nurtures us many times—first by being immersed in the bliss of God consciousness, then as memory. During times of seeming separation we can remember the sweetness of inner communion and be sustained.

We should ask ourselves what we are seeking in our work. Do we work for security, prosperity, or happiness? All these conditions must first be found in their essential nature in the soul as being, conscious awareness, and bliss. When we have found them within, then we can work without attachment.

We can choose the world with the material or emotional supports it promises or we can choose Divine Consciousness, the invisible infinite support. Many reach for what appears to be the sure thing of the world only to discover it is ultimately unreliable.
