It is not the physical structure that makes a home a dwelling where the divine light shines forth but the way that people occupy it. What goes on there each day and how do people treat each other? When a home is a place of peace--of caring, love, awareness, and appreciation for life--we can feel it when we walk through the door.

Dedicate your home as a place of blessing. This purifies the heart and brings forth an awareness of the divine presence right where we are. When we have the intent of blessing we are more likely to act in accordance with our divine nature-to be generous, patient, and kind. We are signed on to override the ego's quick draw to irritability, selfishness, or pride.
