Jesus described the nature of revealed truth when he said: "You may look here or there, but the kingdom [the direct experience of Truth, or Supreme Consciousness] will not come through observation. The kingdom is within you." Supreme Consciousness is the truth of who you are, it is within [inherent to] your own nature.

Becoming a disciple is not something we do in a moment. We may, in a grace-filled moment, say, "Yes" to dedicating our life to spiritual awakening but it is living the disciplined life every day, and demonstrating the willingness to learn, that makes one a disciple.
