It is not the physical structure that makes a home a dwelling where the divine light shines forth but the way that people occupy it. Dedicate your home as a place of blessing. This purifies the heart and brings forth an awareness of the divine presence right where we are.

Awakening to discipleship on the spiritual path coincides with the initial awakening to the Guru, the realization of God within us. The role of the external teacher or guru is to introduce us to this reality -- to lead us home to the True Guru, our divine nature.
