Gentle Yoga Work-in (75 mins)
Suitable for both beginners and regular practitioners. Classes present a classical style of Yoga practice which includes gentle breath/body integration, Sun salutations, pranayama, sound resonance chanting and meditation. These practices help us connect the breath, body and mind, achieve deeper levels of relaxation, and allow our authentic selves to emerge. The practices are informed by both ancient traditions as well as modern scientific research.

Savitha Nanjangud, B.Tech, MS, RYT, has been a Yoga teacher since 2009 when she received her training in a classical Yoga style through Yoga Bharati. Since then she has enjoyed teaching Yoga asana, meditation and Yoga philosophy. Savitha continues to enhance her knowledge of Yoga practices as well as study Yoga philosophy from Swami Bodhananda, founder of Sambodh Society. She is currently pursuing her MA in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University and enjoys integrating her knowledge of East/West Psychology into her classes. Savitha had worked in the semiconductor equipment industry for fifteen years before finding her true passion in Yoga.
