As one of the foremost spiritual leaders of the 21st century, Dr. Barbara has traveled the world and shared her powerful presence with crowds in the tens of thousands. She is also the Founding Minister and World Spiritual Leader of Hillside International Truth Center, Inc., a New Thought, inclusive, healing ministry open to all people, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bishop Dr. Barbara Lewis King, affectionately called "Dr. Barbara," is the Founder Minister/World Spiritual Leader of Hillside International Truth Center, Inc., a New Thought, inclusive, healing ministry open to all people, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Hillside began with a prayer group of twelve in Dr. Barbara’s home in 1971 and now has members and supporters worldwide, including outreach ministries in South Africa, Brazil and Ghana. She has a BA, MSW and Doctorate of Ministry and has authored ten books. In 2001, she was enstooled as the first female chief at Assin Nsuta, Ghana, West Africa.

Dr. Barbara is one of the foremost spiritual leaders of the 21st century and has traveled and spoken around the world. She spoke before 50,000 people at the World Culture Festival in Berlin and to over 1,000 women at the International Women's Conference in Bangalore, India. She was a featured speaker during the Women’s Initiative for Global Advancement at the 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah, attended by over 3,000 women from around the world. Her shoes were added to the International Civil Rights Walk of Fame and her portrait hangs in the International Hall of Honor at Martin Luther King, Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Barbara King continues to create a legacy that helps people recognize and become what they were chosen to be.
