This is a retreat day to cultivate healing, Self-realization, and abidance in bliss. Through meditation, contemplation of scripture, chanting of sacred mantras, and inspiration drawn from stories and poetry, we will open our hearts and minds to our innate potential to realize the spiritual truth—the source of inner peace, clarity, and freedom from sorrow.

Using mind, speech, and actions,
I journeyed to Shiva.

In silent meditation, I saw the supreme flame.

During this retreat:

• Learn and practice the great Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. Experience this healing mantra as a grace-filled instrument that nourishes and supports us, guiding us toward freedom from fear and loss and the realization of ultimate liberation.
• Explore the names and qualities of Lord Shiva as expressions of your inner divine potentials, with the power to transform your life and relationships.
• Practice Superconscious Meditation to discover the Oneness that is Shiva—the Self within all.

The retreat is open to all—newcomers and experienced practitioners alike—who feel drawn to meditation, mantra, and the inner path of Self-realization.

"Behold the light in yourself with a concentrated mind." —Sri Lahiri Mahasaya

The fourteenth day of every lunar month, or the day before the new moon, is known as Shivaratri. Out of all twelve Shivaratris that occur in a calendar year, Mahashivaratri—the great night of Shiva—is one of the most spiritual significance. It occurs every year in February-March at the time of the waning moon, and it is celebrated in temples, homes, and yoga centers worldwide by Hindus and practitioners of yoga.

The dark night vigil on the omnipresence of the Lord is a time for overcoming the darkness of ignorance—both on an individual, national, and global scale. It is a time for healing, for diving into the great mystery of our existence, and discovering the lighted path of spiritually conscious living.

This year's ceremony will include chanting, meditation, stories & readings, puja & rituals, and more!

The program will be both educational and inspirational—an opportunity to learn and practice Sanskrit mantras, explore mystical symbolism, experience deep meditation, and celebrate your spiritual path.
