Year One
Year one begins with a weekend seminary retreat to focus on exploration of the Spiritual Warrior archetype as it relates to ministry service and the ability to fulfill one's soul purpose in this lifetime. Introduction to ministry service, the spiritual journal process and role models in the sacred traditions.

Semester One Courses:

  • The Tapestry of Truth
  • A Study and Personal Exploration of the World's Great Religions
  • Meditation as a Path and a Practice
  • Journal Workshops
  • Ethics, Boundaries, and Self-Care for Ministers
  • Personal Spiritual Direction, Ministry Practicum, and Service

Semester Two Courses:

  • Spiritual Work with the Ill and Dying,
  • Ministry During Grief and Loss,
  • How to Teach Meditation to Individuals and Groups,
  • Group Process/Leadership
  • Service as a Spiritual Path
  • The Sacred Child: Spiritual Work with Children,
  • Learning to Pray With and For Others
  • Working with Grief and Loss
  • Personal Spiritual Direction, Ministry Practicum, and Service

Year Two
Year two begins with a ministry retreat focused on the role of the Spiritual Visionary archetype in discovering one's vision of their ministry.

Semester One Courses:

  • Inspiration in the World's Scriptures
  • Contemplation of the Major Works, The Golden Thread of Truth,
  • Inside the New Testament—5 weeks
  • Inside the Bhagavad Gita—5 weeks
  • Introduction to Spiritual Process
  • Intensive Training for the Spiritual Journal Process
  • Spiritual Guidance and Dream Work
  • Personal Spiritual Direction, Ministry Practicum, and Service

Semester Two Courses:

  • The Recovery Movement as a Spiritual Path
  • Continuation of Inspiration in the World's Scriptures;
  • Study of the Yoga Sutras—6 weeks
  • Minister as Mystic: Maintaining Depth of Personal Practice
  • The Kriya Yoga Tradition—3 weeks
  • Focusing: A Way to Pray with Body, Mind, and Spirit
  • Journal Workshop
  • Developing a Deeper Meditation Practice
  • Personal Spiritual Direction, Ministry Practicum, and Service

Year Three
Year three begins with a ministry retreat focused on development of the Spiritual Teacher archetype and the role of the Teacher in ministry. Introduction to mentoring and plans for the individual's ministry focus begins.

  • Continuation of Inspiration in the World's Scriptures
  • Counseling Skills and Practicum
  • Becoming a Spiritual Teacher
  • Providing Spiritual Guidance

  • Ethics, Boundaries, and Self Care
  • Mentoring Year One Students
  • Personal Spiritual Direction, Ministry Practicum, and Service

Semester Two Courses:

  • Teaching Skills for Ministry
  • Minister's Messages in Sermons, Classes and Presentations
  • Presenting Skills
  • Spiritual Guidance Counseling Skills for Ministers
  • Emerging Spiritual Movements Today: Alternative Religions, The Yoga Tradition
  • Guiding Year One Meditation Teachers
  • Youth Ministry
  • Personal Spiritual Direction, Ministry Practicum, and Service

Year Four
Year four begins with a ministry retreat focused on the Spiritual Healer archetype, tools for developing the inner Healer, and exploration of the role of the minister as the wounded healer.
