CSE's Music Ministry is focused on providing a transformative
environment for worship that facilitates healing, divine
remembrance and spiritual awakening. Music in our worship
services ranges from devotional chanting in support of the deep
silence of the soul in meditation to celebratory music that
praises God and arises from the awakened heart.

Monica Parker-singer/songwriter, record producer and dynamic
performer, was nominated for a W.C. Handy Blues Award for "Best
Soul Blues Female Artist of the Year" by The Blues Foundation in
Memphis, TN. At the age of 7, she began putting down her gospel
roots singing and touring with her church's choir and eventually
this early love of music became her life's calling.

Jonathan
Arthur has sung with many Bay Area groups, including the
Santa Cruz Chorale, the Mount Madonna Choir, VocaMotion, A Wing
and a Prayer, The Eclectic Company and Meta4. He has been the
musical and executive director of The Santa Cruz Homeschool
Choir for 7 years, and is dedicated to teaching the love of
music and harmony to children and their families.
